The fragrance
SMH doesn't open: it explodes. Ripe mango, pineapple, coconut, bergamot and a splash of white rum — a tropical cocktail served generously and with zero shyness. If most summer scents whisper, this one orders another round. It's one of those perfumes you can smell from metres away, turning any office Tuesday into a beach-bar terrace.
The heart lowers the revs without leaving the stage: creamy coconut milk, salty marine notes and white flowers. This is where the perfume gains class — the sea salt cuts the sweetness of the fruit and the whole thing shifts from piña colada to a real beach: sun cream, breeze, warm skin.
And the base anchors it all: vetiver, musk, sandalwood and amber. A woody base that gives hours of longevity and stops the perfume from being just a summer joke. It evokes Summer Hammer by Lorenzo Pazzaglia, the cult tropical of Italian independent perfumery — in an interpretation for anyone who wants niche's most famous summer without the price tag.
