The fragrance
FLO opens with a burst of ripe raspberry — that intense, almost metallic raspberry that has become one of the most recognisable notes in modern niche perfumery — joined by a stroke of apple and a touch of orange blossom that adds brightness and stops the fruit from tipping into sickly sweetness. The first impression is juicy, vibrant and full-bodied. Some people pick up a hint of violet in these first minutes, adding a very elegant powdery nuance.
The heart is where the composition gets interesting. Rose and jasmine appear — one red flower and one white, taking turns without treading on each other — supported by a powdery iris. This floral trio is not the usual one found in commercial women's perfumes: it is more sophisticated, more grown-up, with a velvety texture that brings to mind a dried petal rather than a freshly cut flower.
And the base is where the perfume truly explains itself. Cedar, cypress, pine and amber — a woody architecture with a clear nod to the Mediterranean, almost like walking through a pine forest near the sea. The original, in perspective
FLO is inspired by Flamenco, a perfume from the house of Ramón Monegal launched in 2017. The original bottle retails at over 140 € for the 100 ml EDP.
FLO gives you the same olfactory structure — the metallic raspberry, the floral heart with iris, the woody base with cedar and pine — made in Spain, without the layers of niche packaging and selective distribution that multiply the price of the original. The difference from the original is more than 110 € per 100 ml bottle.
When and how
FLO works practically all year round, but it really shines in the transitional seasons — spring and autumn — when its fruity side and its woody side are at their best balance. In summer it feels fresh thanks to the citrusy, fruity opening; in winter it gains body thanks to the cedar and amber base.
It is a perfume that adapts well to the moment: it works by day with a couple of sprays (the raspberry and rose take the lead and it feels vibrant) and it works by night if you apply a little more generously (the woody base settles and the whole thing becomes more intimate). It lasts between 8 and 10 hours on skin; on clothes you may still notice it the next day.

Pillé la muestra y me tuve que pillar una más grande. Se nota mucho la frambuesa, se nota unisex, pero yo soy hombre y me gusta mucho usarla, me han dado cumplidos. Si te gusta la frambuesa no te lo pienses.
